 What's new? MYOTONIC FAINTING GOATS, that's what!!
We have added a small herd of Myotonic Fainting Goats to our farm! These cute little
things are adorable and DO NOT really "faint". This is merely a temporary condition that does not render the unconcious,
merely immobile for a few seconds. It doesn't hurt them. Our newly added herd of Myotonics come from a long line of
excellent bloodlines of Fainting Goats and would be excellent for showing and a great 4-H project for your kids.
If you remember, in 2010, we added a small herd of Purebred Nigerian Dwarfs to our farm! These cute
little things are adorable and make excellent pets! They are sweet, affectionate & very comical & entertaining.
But, that's not all, they're also excellent milk goats with their milk being among some of the richest.
Note: GALAXY, our wonder mom, has been bred this season to Lakeshore Romantic Gesture (ROMEO) and with her spots
& his wonderful coloring & belting, there should be some fantastic colors! She is due to start off our 2012
Kidding season in April of 2012. We can't wait!! We will keep you posted with the new births just as
soon as the stork makes his deliveries! Please keep checking our news letter often for the latest news on all
of Goats and what's happening with them & us here on Nanny's Udder Place!
