Our Herd

Here at Nanny's Udder Place you will find some of the best purebred Nubian goats around. We have SPOTTED Nubians and all colors. Our Nubians are all bred for their genetics for conformation and their milk production. The Nubian is one of the gentlest and sweetest natured of all the goats. They return all the love you can give them and make excellent pets, as well as excellent dairy goats. Goat milk has been proven to be healthier for you than cow's milk and it can be drunk by those who are even lactose intolerant.
We Also have Registered MYOTONIC FAINTING Goats and the cute little NIGERIAN DWARF Goats. We're becoming quite diversified. Be sure to see the different breeds under the tab "OUR HERD" at the top of page of the Menu Bar.

Meet Tank

We have, once again, the incomparable B.E.S.T. TANK...
Tank was our Foundation Sire when we 1st began our Nanny's Udder Place farm. Tank, who you all know has MORE than proven himself thru his offspring of the past years and he will continue to do so. He is an awesome Sire and so, we have kept some of his Daughers from the early 2010 Kid crop to add to our Herd Does. His daughters crossed with a new bloodline we've also added to our Herd in 2010 should and will give us offspring that will increase milk production even more.

Meet Romeo

In the fall of 2010 we introduced a new and additional bloodline into our herd. This new bloodline was that of a National Champion - That of the KASTDEMUR bloodline! That NEW Kastdemur sire is "LAKESHORE ROMANTIC GESTURE"(ROMEO)and a son of Lakeshore-Farms Bold Equasion and a grandson of KASTDEMUR'S At Your Service, who was a champion himself.

We expected awesome results in the spring of 2011 from this grandson, Romantic Gesture (ROMEO), and got them! ROMEO is proving to be an awesome Jr. Buck and additional Herd Sire, as well. He was bred to our Jr. Does in 2010 (who were the yearling Does we had retained out of Tank's offspring).

Romeo

Romeo is shown here with those Junior Does that we will, once again, begin breeding to him in Nov/Dec of 2011. This should give us awesome kids once again in the Spring of 2012! This championship bloodline of KASTDEMUR thru our Buck Romeo, in addition to our own awesome Buck, Tank, will give us some of the best Nubian goats in the USA.

The 2012 offspring from these two outstanding bucks and our excellent Jr. and Sr. Herd Does should prove to be awesome once again and these will be kids that anyone will be proud to own.

Tank has made an awesome name for himself through the powerful offspring that he has produced time and time again. His background of milking qualities, good udder placement & teats has been proven in his offspring over and over. He has made quite an impact on our herd, as has our KASTDEMUR Buck, Lakeshore Romantic Gesture (ROMEO).

TANK will be bred again in November/December (2011) to our Sr. Does, all having proven themselves one hundred fold from years before. Some of you may remember our Sr. Does like Galaxy & Shmi, just to mention a couple. The offspring in the spring of 2012 should prove to be, once again, AWESOME!!
